Hello, A Bird and A Bean friends!! This is Megan and I am FINALLY back after a couple months off. Life has been super crazy, even though my kids are in school I just feel like I never have enough time to do everything in a day! ARGH! I guess that’s the life of being a Mom, right?!
Today I have a CUTE little 3D card I made using a cut file from the Silhouette Design Store. It is designed by Lori Whitlock and it’s not the first 3D card file I’ve made of hers. I made her spring card earlier this year and just loved it! Since then I’ve bought a few more of her 3D cards. This is the second one I have actually made. I don’t know about you, but I am bad about buying cut files and never using them! I bought a wedding 3D card to make for my brother and his new wife who got married way back in April and I never made it for them! I think I’m going to include it in their Christmas present! Hehe!
Anyway, let’s get on with the craft! Here are some photos of the finished card. I decided to take them outside since it is fall and I wanted those colors in there:
Here’s the completed card and I am so in love with how it turned out!! I actually made the ‘Fall’ stamp with the Stamp material from Silhouette America. The ‘happy’ stamp was part of a stamp in a Close to my Heart set I recently bought. It’s called ‘Choose Happy’ and was the stamp of the month in August I think. I don’t think you can get it anymore, unfortunately.
I inked the edges of the yellow paper on the flaps with Color Box pigment ink named Cocoa and I love the effect it gives!
Another angle and close up to see the pumpkins and turkey. I LOVE the turkey!! It is so cute!!
And this is my Thanksgiving decorations in the house. This little bookcase is in the living room right as you walk in the door. Instead of sending the card to someone I decided to use it as a decoration. I don’t have very many Thanksgiving/fall decorations so I thought it would be nice to add it to the collection.
I also have a process video on my YouTube channel you can watch below:
Thanks so much for stopping by today!! I’ll be back next month, hopefully! 🙂

This has got to be one of the best Thanksgiving cards I have ever seen. That is so cute, I wish I could make something like that – I have never used a Silhouette.
