HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
Well, January is almost over. And I had a lot of New Year’s Resolutions to start 2014. (I have a lot every year.) I love the whole fresh start that a new year brings. It gets me all excited to make some healthy changes in my life. This year I want to improve in lots of areas. How about you?
Here are some of my words for the year and goals to go with them…….
Clean out and de-clutter. every room. every closet. every drawer. Less is more!
Keep a better calander, like this one, so that I don’t procrastinate as much. No more last minute stress.
Less yelling. Less stress. Enjoy life more.
Consistent daily quite time with God. Better prayer life. Connect more intentionally with the kids and Kevin.
Work out more. Eat better. Choose better nutrition. Keep snacks on hand to keep me fueled through the day. Join an running or workout club. Get more energy.
Find a blog to contribute on monthly. Work on my traffic and social media channels more this year. Connect with my readers more. Grow my blog.
Serve at church more consistently. Find a charity that I can serve at with the kids.
Dear Future Me,
It’s a brand new year. Good luck keeping up with your goals and resolutions. You can totally do this! All of your goals are awesome and they are all connected! When you’re more organized and have less clutter, you will be more calm. Eating better and making healthy food choices will give you more energy. Starting your day with God will help you be calm and gain perspective. Serving others together and exercising as a family are great ways to help you connect. You got this!
I’m so excited to be participating in The Zone Perfect Blog Forward Challenges. I’m encouraging you all to make healthy resolutions in 2014 with me! Let’s stick with it together! So far so good. One month down in this COLD 2014, and 11 more to go.
I made a fabulous notebook with a calendar. It’s all color coded with deadlines and appointments. I’ve served at church twice this month and have kept up with my daily quite times and devotions. The kids and I joined a running club and the first day is tomorrow. 🙂 I’ve made some attempts in growing my blog by hosting and attending a rocking conference. And I’ve made some changes in the way we eat and what snacks we have in the house. I was sent some of these Zone Perfect bars. They are fabulous and filled with protein to keep me full and satisfied. I don’t get HANGRY as fast and it’s easier to be calm! (hungry + angry = HANGRY) They’re really delicious and so far I like the Perfectly Simple ones best.
Stay tuned to these Zone Perfect Blog Forward challenges for your chance to win some, too.
