I’m excited to say that the Zone Perfect Challenges that I’m in this year are still going well. I have made some great healthy changes around here. I am feeling more organized and more healthy.
It’s never too late to participate in these Zone Perfect Blog Forward Challenges with me. (Seriously, better late than never!) I hope you all will make healthy changes for the last few months of this year with me! Come on, it’ll be fun! One of the huge things I did this summer was get back on the treadmill.
Aaannd, in order to do that…..I needed to clean that sucker off. Seriously, how embarrassing! Geez. (I’m a treadmill hoarder. Wait, that would mean I have a lot of treadmills. I guess I was just using it as a storage bin.)
And I found my weights!
I’m also eating WAY more vegetables. I’ve always made the kids eat lots of veggies, but somehow never do myself. Ugh. Mom fail.
This egg hash might be one of my favorite go-to-ways to get in a ton of greens! It’s sautéed kale, zucchini, sweet potato and a poached egg! YUM! Great for any meal of the day!
I’ve been continuing the classes with my sister. So fun and sweaty!
I learned what a kettle bell is AND I USE THEM! I feel totally cool when I do, too! 😉
We did a race as a family! That was fun! And colorful.
And I still keep Zone Perfect Bars in the kids bags and in my purse so no one gets HANGRY when we are out and about. (I love that word – because nothing describes getting hungry and angry better than hangry!) It’s great tasting nutrition for active kids.

I have just started my own weight loss and health program. I love getting to know yourself through the process. I found I was a stress eater and am now trying to adjust for that.

I stopped eating candy bars. I know, it sounds silly and simple, but I was eating one or two almost every day. The best part? My chocolate cravings are GONE!

I have been eating more vegetables too.
Okay, I have started taking Apple cider vinegar 2-3 times a day. It’s only my second week but I can already see changes in my skin and another area. Best part is I’m getting used to the taste!!!! Next goal is to get back to the gym. I’ve been wanting to try the new Cyclebar in Oakley, it looks really fun.
ZOne Perfect…I should try them…I have been wanting to find more healthy snacks!
That is awesome you got your treadmill cleared off to burn some calories on. I wish I had a treadmill but my house is too small.
