I wanted to be sure to post pictures of our family’s Easter so I wouldn’t forget how cute (and soggy) it was. I know it was over a week ago. 🙂 My bad. I’m really upset with myself for not remembering to get a single family picture. Bah. Anyway.
The egg hunt….
(taking a break for a piece of candy and checking out who has more eggs)
So, the ‘big’ kids got bikes for Easter from my parents. My dad wanted to hide them so they could find them during the Easter egg hunt. See them “hiding” in the tree over there! 🙂 The kids did NOT see them. It was so funny. They were only looking down for eggs. It took them forever to figure it out. haha. silly kids.
The bird had recently graduated from her little Strider bike to a real life big girl pedal bike. She learned it in a few minutes one afternoon. We borrowed our neighbors little pedal bike and she just picked it right up. Three years old and riding a bike – no training wheels…EVER! I am so proud. 🙂
My dad was even more proud and decided that the big kids clearly needed their own big kid bikes. (Thanks Mom and Dad! You’re awesome.)
Which left the Striders to be passed down to the little kids. The bean was VERY excited about this! He’s been waiting (not too patiently) for this event. And he’s already doing really well. He got the whole balance thing much quicker than Lucie, and he’s 6 months younger than she was when she got the Strider! BOYS!
(Sam LOVES his cousin Michael – he says Gichael)
My grandpa, dad and brother – family resemblance?
Mmmm. Chocolate bunny.
