Hello crafty people!! I have been on a little bit of a hiatus because this summer has just been so super busy!! Not to mention the fact that we decided to sell our house and buy a new one. That added to all the normal craziness and I’ve been feeling like a chicken with my head cut off! Yikes!
I am happy that I had some time to create a cute little project for you this month, though!! I was on pinterest browsing my Craft board and found this adorable little Birthday Board that displayed the name of the person and their birth date.
I am always forgetting extended family birthdays and I hate it! So, this board was the perfect solution!! I had a board already in my craft stash so I pulled it out with some black paint and got to work. I did 3 coats of paint and my husband screwed the little nob into the board from the back. I picked out a cut file from the Silhouette store that I really liked and cut it out on my Cameo. You can find the cut file here.
My favorite color is purple and I’m going to be painting my new craft room purple so I thought using purple vinyl was the perfect choice! I also picked out a kinda pinkish purple paper to use for the tags.
I bought a font called Sketch Tuesday from the Silhouette Design Store and used my black glitter sketch pen to write out the names and dates. I love using my sketch pens!! They’re so fun!
I used some black and white twine to tie around the tags and I really love how it all turned out!
