The kids have recently decided that they are into slime. Again. Good old slime. It just keeps coming back.
We’ve made plenty of slime together over the years, but now they have decided that they want to review other peoples slime. So, they got to work. They hit the inter-webs this spring and found a bunch of slime shops that had products that interested them.
So here we are. The first of their new series… A Bird and A Bean: Slime Reviews.
Up first we have a sweet little Etsy Shop called Slime Potionz.
The kids picked out 5 or 6 slimes from the shop. It was hard for them to narrow it down because they all looked pretty great. Slime Potionz sent some out for us to review. We paid for the shipping.
The highly anticipated bag came in the mail and sadly it was opened and all of the slime was gone. We’re still not sure if someone stole it or if the adhesive just failed and all of the containers fell out in transit.
Either way, the shop owner was very sweet and offered to send replacements out to us for their review. We paid for shipping again and were rewarded a week later with a new bag full of slime.
Ok. Here is the kids’ review…..take it away kids!

Thanks, Mom. We loved getting to try out all the new slimes. First, we got to pick some cool ones from a nice shop Lucie found on Etsy called Slime Potionz. You guys should go and check it out. The slimes are all reasonably priced and pretty. It was super hard to choose.
We ended up picking Tropical Punch, Frozen Lemonade, Strawberry Frap, Cotton Candy, Strawberry Refresher and Easter Bunny Crunch. The owner included some freebies too. It was a fun package to get. So, let me tell you about them.
Tropical Punch is a very pretty cloud slime with Fimo slices and the stretch is great. The colors are very pretty. It looks like rainbow sherbet when it is mixed up. It’s soft and perfectly clicky. This slime was our favorite out of the package. We love cloud slimes and Fimo slices.
Frozen Lemonade is up next and this was our second favorite one out of the bunch. It’s also a cloud slime and it’s pale yellow and smells like lemons. And it has pretty Fimo lemon slices. The stretch and the click is good. See, we love cloud slimes with Fimo slices.
Strawberry Frap is also a nice cloud slime, with you guessed it….more Fimo slices. Another favorite. It has a pink base and clear slime drizzled in. It is very soft and also creamy and stretchy.
Cotton Candy is a bluish-white, clicky slime with a nice shine. It is very thick and glossy and fun to play with.
Strawberry Refresher is a super thick clear slime with an amazing iridescent bright pink pigment and cute Fimo slices. It is very glossy and clicky.
Easter Bunny Crunch is a nice thick and crunchy slime. It’s light bluish gray with crunchy floam beads.
The shop often has really neat seasonal slimes, so be sure to check them often. Obviously this one was for spring.
They currently have a cool watermelon cube one and an apple pie one that looks really great.
Thank you to Slime Potionz for sending us these slimes for review. Be sure to head to Etsy and check them out.
And come back here for the next installment of A Bird and A Bean: Slime Reviews, next week. You won’t want to miss the next one!
