Hi, crafty friends!! I hope you’re all having a great weekend!! We were able to pick up our new 4 month old puppy today (Saturday) and it has been a CRAZY day!! lol This is our first puppy ever and it’s time consuming!! He had one accident in the house, but after that first time he hasn’t had another one so that’s very exciting!
Well, I guess we should get to the project I have for you today! I thought, since a lot of our kids are going back to school soon, I would share the cute little gift I put together for my kids’ teachers. I’m sending ALL 3 of my kids to school this year!! I can’t believe my “baby” is 5 and going to kindergarten! Anyone else sending off their baby this year?!
Ok, I know, I’m wasting a lot of time talking about non-crafty things… let’s get to this totally cute craft!
What I love about this is it’s not too cutesy and overly girly. One of my kids has a boy teacher this year and so I wanted it to be something yummy, but also cute. I mean, come on, we’ve all heard that saying, ‘A way to a man’s heart is through his stomach’ or however it goes 🙂
I made up 3 of them and have them all set in their backpacks for the first day. Knowing my kids, they’d probably forget them if I didn’t do that for them. Do you have kids like that? Is it just a boy thing? lol
I found the idea for this gift on pinterest. It was originally written up by The Taylor House blog, but I got the actually printable image from the Making Memories with your Kids blog.
Thanks for stopping by today!! I hope you have a great rest of your weekend! I’ll see you again next month!
