Hello crafty friends! I hope you’re all having a wonderful weekend!! My kids got out of school a week and a half ago and I’m trying to survive with these 3 crazy boys all at home! lol I hope your summer is going great so far!!
This month I decided, even though it’s quite a bit early, to make a 4th of July craft to share with you all. I was browsing through my feed on Instagram yesterday and I saw @craftinessisnotoptional had posted this cute little decoration for a birthday party for one of her kids:
These little rubber band balls are so cute in these glass jars! I immediately thought they would make a CUTE holiday craft to share with you so I headed to Walmart and picked up red, white & blue yarn, some foam balls and this cute little fruit basket you can see below.
I spent an hour or so wrapping the foam balls in 2 different sizes with yarn and I absolutely LOVE the result!! I’m so glad I happened upon this idea and made it work for my own decor!
I don’t usually decorate on my kitchen table, but I decided that this would be a nice little addition for the month as we think about and celebrate America.
This is what it looks like with my candle and cute little tile my sister in law made for me. This craft was very simple, but a bit time consuming. I really do love how it turned out and I’m so glad I spent the time to make it! I hope you enjoyed this post!
I’ll be back next month so stay tuned to see what else I will come up with to share! 🙂
