I love traditions and I love Christmas. Aaaaand I love Cincinnati.
There are just so many Cincinnati traditions that I look forward to each year and the holiday train display is one of them!
I have such great memories as a kid of my parents taking us downtown to see the trains. And just I love sharing those kinds of things with my kids now. The trains have a new permanent location at the Cincinnati Museum Center. You always know it’s that time of year when you see the trains on display! (oh yeah, and when you see Santa, too!)
“1946 in partnership with the Baltimore & Ohio (B&O) Railroad. The portable model train display at Duke Energy’s headquarters grew, as the railroad grew, through the 1940s, ’50s and into the ’60s.
In 2011, Duke Energy gifted the trains to Cincinnati Museum Center to ensure the trains and beautiful historic displays will stay in the Greater Cincinnati area for all of Duke Energy’s families, friends and customers to enjoy.”
It’s holiday fun for all ages. A true Cincy tradition.
Make some new Christmas memories this year. Visit the trains!
You can enter Holiday Junction for free as a Museum member or as a Duke Energy customer (with a special confirmation code.)
