Back-to-School shopping! I seriously can’t believe we are talking about this already! Where did the summer go? It just flew by. But, here we are. And kiddos need new shoes and clothes and backpacks and lunch boxes. I absolutely L.O.V.E. Back-to-School shopping. I know that I’m likely in the minority here, but it means Faaaall (the best season ever!) is just around the corner! I love it. I love everything about Back-to-School. It’s probably partly why I became a teacher. (That and the whole molding the minds of America’s youth, of course) The smell of new school supplies is like an aphrodisiac to me! hahaha.
But, I do get stressed out when I have to make seemingly endless trips to different stores for any reason. It gets all chaotic and it’s way too time consuming. Blah. That’s why we headed to DICK’s Sporting Goods® this week. They have EVERYTHING kids need for fall and the latest back-to-school gear and styles….all in one store!
Seriously. I didn’t really think I could tackle the back-to-school shopping with one trip. But we did.
My kids love going to Dick’s, anyway. Because they know that we always snag a bag of jerky or gummy worms (or both) from the check out first and then walk around. Genius, I know. Because shopping with hungry kids is the worst idea EVER!
I also let them bring a toy in. Lucie always brings Julie. So cute!
Armed with our jerky we wandered around and found all kinds of great deals on clothes. They love picking the stuff out that they like. #stopgrowing.
Fashion show. Super cute outfit choices. My girl loves leggings! 🙂
Rows of backpacks! And matching lunch boxes. Oh my.
Need coats and vests? Dicks has you covered. And we found these gems in the clearance section! Score.
Kids need water bottles these days. We love this kind. Keeps the water ice cold for days. Of course, she chose purple!
Shoes. Dick’s Sporting Goods has a great shoe selection with the hottest trends in footwear. Gym class? Casual kicks? DSG has it. Mine wanted them all. Lucky for me they don’t need new shoes just yet.
And for a successful shopping trip…a little treat for mom. A new mug to keep my pumpkin spice lattes steaming hot for hours this fall!
