Hello everyone!! It has been a long time since I’ve posted so I’m glad to be back with you today! I’m hoping to be able to post once a month this year and I’ve been trying to be better about planning things out so I can. I hope you’re all having a great New Year so far! I can’t believe it’s almost the middle of February! This year is going by so fast already!
Anyway, let’s jump into my cute little craft I have to share with you today. I’m excited about this one! I haven’t been good with doing teacher gifts in the last couple years so I knew I wanted to do something special for my kids’ teachers for Valentine’s Day.
I wanted to keep it simple and cheap, so I turned to my favorite tool/machine, my Silhouette Cameo. I picked out this cute vday box from the design store. I pulled it up in my software and got started cutting out all of the shapes on different colored papers. Once everything was all cut out I put them all together and stuck a bunch of Hershey’s Kisses in the boxes. Now they’re ready to give to the teachers!
I love how they turned out, and it really only took 30 minutes, including all the designing in the software, the cutting and the gluing. I love simple and fast crafts!
Here’s a little bit of a close up.
If you need a cute and quick little gift for a teacher or even for your kids, this is a fun way to make it special. If you don’t have a Silhouette cameo you can always draw out your own shape and cut it by hand and use a bone folder to make the folds.
Thanks for stopping by today! I hope you have a great weekend! I’ll be back next month with another fun craft!
