Hello and Happy Easter!! I’m a bit late in posting this month, and I am so sorry about that. I had an awful kidney infection and literally couldn’t do anything for about 5 days straight. I’m finally feeling mostly back to normal so I had some time to post. It’s fitting to post it today for the celebration of Easter.
I was searching on Pinterest for some cute Easter craft ideas and I came across this pin. I thought these cute little pom pom bunnies were so cute and wanted to make a few to include in my kids’ Easter Baskets this morning. We like to give the kids more than just candy and I knew they would love these little cute animals.
Here is my take on making these cute bunnies:
I did a test one first, the multi colored one in the middle. The yarn I used for that one wasn’t as fluffy as the white yarn so it turned out a little more scraggly than the other two, but I think that’s the one I like most. It’s not perfect, and that’s totally me! haha
I added some Gun Metal Grey sequins from the SpiegelMom Scrap shop. The pinned post suggested using beads, but I don’t have any. I do have a LOT of sequins though so I loved using them in a different way.
For the ears I decided to use thick ribbon. I couldn’t find my felt, which probably would’ve been easier, but this worked out just fine. I cut 2 different shapes, one for the main part of the ear and then a smaller red ribbon for the middle of the ear.
Thanks so much for stopping by!! I hope you all are having a wonderful Easter!
