Snow, Snow, Snow…although I am a bit tired of it’s presence around these parts, it did inspire this pretty hair clip!
To make it you will need:
alligator clip
glitter sheet (found at Hobby Lobby in the felt aisle)
scrap of felt
Sewing machine
Hot glue gun
coordinating ribbon 3/8 ribbon
Cut your glitter sheet into an 1.5 inch strip and then fold in half.
Sew the bottom ends. You can use hot glue but the stitch line makes a clear boundary for your upcoming cuts.
Next, make small cuts all the way down.
Roll it up and seal with hot glue
Secure it to a scrap of felt (you can trim this later)
Push your “blossom” down to make the petals stick out
Line your clip with ribbon and attach your blossom.
Then accessorize with the weather with your new sparkly snow blossom.
My daughters wear these clips all the time and I love to put these blossoms on pins and attach them to my scarves and purses!
