Man, Pinterest is the BEST! I spotted this clever little idea there last week. I knew my kids would just love it. The bird LOVES celery (so much that that’s what she named her hobby horse). And the bean LOVES goldfish. And they both love fishing. Great idea, and so simple – I didn’t even have to go to the store. And I LOVE that!
The original idea came from this cute blog. Thanks Jenny! I’m so glad it made it to pinterest because the kids thought it was just great. We’ve done the good ole’ ants on a log (raisins and peanut butter on celery) and they always love that, but this was a nice change.
What you need:
Celery…. for fishing poles
Peanut butter…. for bait (we used almond butter and it worked fine)
goldfish
