Last year, when we made snow paint I put it in spray bottles. It worked and was fun and it got a lot of play time around here. However, the triggers of the spray bottles were a little hard for the bird to squeeze. I had originally looked for the kind of bottles you put ketchup and mustard in during picnics, to no avail. I ended up seeing a 6 pack of these handy bottles over the summer (at GFS) and snatched them up to save for today. They worked great! The bean even got in on the fun this year. They loved it! Try it out – a super fun and easy little project.
Lucie helped squeeze the food coloring into the bottles and mix the colors. She thought that was a fun project alone. 🙂
They kept wanting me to draw things so that they could color them in. This was way easier with this kind of bottle. The spray bottles make a cool effect too, though. Maybe we’ll use both next time.
definitely trying this! With all the snow we’ve been getting…the kids would love it!
Love it! I am a preschool teacher and frustrated that those triggers never really worked like I wanted them to. Now I have to try to convince the lunch ladies to loan me the ketchup bottles when we get a chance to go out in the snow…
