a dozen eggs

October 14, 2010 by Erin 4 Comments

Wowza!! Look at that. My first real dozen!! Isn’t it just so wholesome?! ๐Ÿ™‚ Lucie is so proud to be on the labels! heehee

I am so proud of those cute chickens. Well, “chicken” actually…..since only one of them is laying so far. Poor Myrtle’s doing all of the work while all of them get the credit. Typical. At least Myrtle made it onto the label too.

Really…. you would not BELIEVE the difference in store bought eggs with these eggs. I will have to take pictures and share. It is CRAZY! And I was buying “organic” eggs from the store. Still – very different. Interesting.

I LOVE my farm fresh eggs!!! My husband has always questioned their value until in our camping group someone else was whipping up their (store bought) eggs for breakfast & & asked what was wrong w/them (b/c they were so pale) & I said (quickly) ‘nothing they r just store bought so they r lighter’. he hasn’t questioned my trip to get them again! ๐Ÿ™‚

That is soooo cool. Are you going to sell them? If so, I want to buy them! Also, check out this article about “organic” eggs! What you’re doing is awesome.

What a cute farmer! Will we be seeing you all soon at a local farmer’s market?
