Ok, so I tried out the homemade dishwasher detergent. Awesome!! It works like a charm. Here is the recipe I used.1/2 cup of borax1/2 washing soda1/4 cup citric acid1/4 cup kosher saltAnd for the rinse agent - instead of the blue dyed chemical one - just fill up the compartment with distilled white vinegar! Kevin's parents came into town for a visit this weekend. It was gorgeous outside so we went to the zoo. The kids loved it. The bean, who is usually a pretty quite kid, squealed with delight at every new animal. He would jump and flail around and squeak.
