What you need:
- 1 cup of coconut oil
- 1 teaspoon of Vitamin E oil (optional) (I opened about 10 capsules to equal 1 tsp)
- A few drops of your favorite essential oil. I used Rocky Mountain Oils Citrus Passion. Perfect!
What you do:
- Place coconut oil (doesn’t have to be melted) and Vitamin E oil in the mixer with the whisk attachment and whip for 6 or 7 minutes until it’s light an fluffy.
- Put it in a jar.
- Use it. 🙂
That’s it.
And it really does feel luxurious.
I’ve seen recipes for whipped body butter that use half coconut oil and half Shea butter. I might try that someday for fun, but as far as I’m concerned, I have found my moisturizer! I’m no longer plagued with the winter dry skin itch. I’m not sure if it’s the addition of air with whipping or the addition of the Vitamin E that does the trick, but I like it!
I do love the oils. I use them for everything. Even cooking.

When you are choosing your essential oils, please know that there are different grades available. You can find some low priced oils in your grocery store or health food store. I have chosen to purchase Rocky Mountain Oilsfor my family. They are amazing and of the highest quality. Bonus, they are not a MLM!
