Ditch the Tube

August 26, 2015 by Erin Leave a Comment

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Scott Tube-Free for IZEA. All opinions are 100% mine.

So, it’s been about a month since we started using Scott Tube Free Bath Tissue.  It’s seriously great.  It’s simple and easy to use.  And I love that we are not contributing extra tubes to the land fills.  Did you know that over 17 billion (BILLION!) tubes are used each year in the US alone?!  That’s enough to fill the Empire State Building TWICE!  And I learned that my family is contributing 19,420 of those!  WHAT?!

Here’s what one week of our tubes look like.  Seriously!  What the heck?!  Want to know how many your family uses?  Check it out.

And, National Toilet Paper Day is today!  Did you even know that was a thing?  Well, it is and what a great day to make the switch to Tube Free!  Do it.  It’s great stuff.  It goes on the TP holder just the same way as the kind with tubes.  And you can help diminish the 17 million toilet paper rolls used every year.  scott1
It’s such a quick and easy, environmentally conscious switch that any family can make.

You can find Scott Tube-Free at Walmart nationwide, and I buy mine right at our Kroger.  Find it near you by checking out this Local Retailer Locator.

It’s such a simple and innovative step that makes a big environmental impact.  Don’t go without this great Scott Coupon.

Of course you can use up the rest of your old tubes in creative ways instead of contributing more of them to the landfills.  Here are a few of our favorites.

Don’t worry!  Now that we don’t have any more TP rolls, there are always paper towels and wrapping paper to keep me in cardboard tubes for all the crafts!
