This crazy, fun challenge is officially over this week. I can’t believe it. I bought some cute new gym shoes for myself this week to celebrate the miles I put on my old ones. I LOVE THEM! (and they were only 40 bucks!) I had so much fun and ‘met’ some awesome people. I tried new things. After eating right, drinking tons of water and exercising at least 5 days a week for the last 5 weeks, I do feel great. I’ve lost a bit of weight and a few inches. I just feel better. I am pretty happy with my losses….until I see other people’s. 😉 Then I start thinking, what more could I have done. But honestly I feel like I couldn’t have tried harder, I seriously worked it! (Stop comparing, Erin! UGG. Stupid human nature!) I’m going to keep at it and hope to lose at least 30 more pounds. Thanks Mamavation and Omron Fitness for the amazing opportunity.
Here are the stats. (and pics) (a big thanks to my 5-year-old for taking my before and after pictures!)
This past week was a good one for the scale. I lost 4.2 pounds. Which is nice after last weeks low number. It catches up. So, that makes the grand total a nice 16.4 pounds. Not too shabby.
As for the measurements……I am down 4 inches on the chest, 4 inches on the hips, 5 inches on each thigh, 3 inches on each calf, 1 inch on each arm and 2.5 inches on my waist. When people say they have lost 30 inches or whatever…..are they just totaling those numbers? I’m not sure. If that’s the case then I have lost a total of 23.5 inches. 🙂 I can tell in the pictures, especially the side one.
(And I got a hair cut this week, so, I also lost a big ole’ mullet. Geez, my hair in week one is just bad. haha.)
Don’t forget to come on over to the Twitter party next week. You could win some great prizes, like the ones I got to use in this challenge.
