We’ve been busy around here with traveling and parties and reunions! We recently went to my husbands home town in WI to enjoy the 4th with family and friends. Racine, WI has one of the biggest July 4th parades in the mid-west…. or something. It’s a three hour parade with over 100,000 spectators! It was a really fun visit. We always stay with our dear friends while we are there. They have a little boy, Seth – close to Lucie’s age and a sweet new baby girl. Here are some of the fun things we enjoyed with them…
Racine has a cute little zoo and we spent an afternoon there. They gave the kids safari passports with their pictures in them, very cute. They also had a fun bouncy house set up. The extra awesome thing was that since we’re platinum members of our Cincy zoo – we all got in FREE because of some special zoo reciprocity thing!! SWEET – I love free! 🙂
Patiently waiting their turn for the bouncy house.
Sam was so mad that he wasn’t allowed to go in the bouncy house. Look at that ticked off face….silly bean – he was so annoyed. He wants to be a big kid so badly!
Roasting “peeps” in their jammies! So fun.
How many pale, blond kids can you fit in a shower?
The guys grew nasty little mustaches for the 4th. Boys are so strange.
They drank Yuengling beer that Kevin had been saving (in our neighbors basement -so he wouldn’t be tempted to drink it) since our trip to TN in February! It’s good, inexpensive beer from the oldest brewery in America – but you can only get it in like 10 states….probably making it more desirable than it would be if you could get it anywhere. 🙂
Prettiest baby EVER!! Sweet Chelsea.
We played in Rick and Amy’s lake every day for hours. They loved it!
Cute blond heads. They look like a gang.
