Moving Moments

August 29, 2014 by Erin 3 Comments

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Huggies® Little Movers for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

I’m so excited to have my lovely friend Jessica here today to tell you about her sweet little baby.  I’m pretty far out of the baby stage over here.  Sob.  Sometimes I miss those little chubby bundles.  And I cry when I have to clean out the basement and get rid of baby things.  But, I don’t really miss diapers.  (Plus, I also really like sleep.)  Jessica is an awesome mom to three cute kids, and two are still in diapers, so, she’s pretty much an expert.  Take it away Jess.

Hi I’m Jessica, I’m a wife and a mom of three great kiddos. We homeschool our oldest and are looking to start preschool at home with the 2nd born this year. Homeschooling pretty much consumes a lot of our time, but with the time not spent schooling we dabble in a bit of gardening, homemaking, biking, walking, zoo going, essential oil using, potty training, meal making, mess cleaning, and of course diaper changing!

That last one is what brings me to the subject at hand, DIAPER CHANGING. With my littlest one under a year old we do a lot of that around here. And with her being a VERY active third child who is always trying to keep up with the older two, getting a good diaper on her little bottom that can keep up with her climbing, crawling, and soon to be walking is ESSENTIAL!

Through three kids I have used diapers that feel like cardboard, ones that leak (BLECK), and some that don’t quite stay where they are supposed to.  And then I recently tried these NEW! Huggies® Little Movers with Double Grip Strips! They are GREAT and my little mover can really do just that, MOVE! They keep up with her every move from sitting to standing to climbing to crawling! One thing I love about these diapers is the double grip strip. It allows an extra strip of the gripping. For my child this means no bunchy sides on the diaper, it stays put no matter how hard she is on it!

Huggies even has this fun site huggies.com/moments to where you can upload some of the moments that you capture. I was able to easily sign up and upload my little dumpling’s #movingmoments picture and got a great coupon for $2 off a pack in return (score)! You should Share your Moving Moment too.  I mean who can pass up savings (and cute pictures of babies)! You also get a chance to be featured on the Huggies Facebook Page, FUN!

We even put these diapers to the test with some momma baby activity time by doing some signature moves from celebrity fitness instructor and mom, Nikki Glor who teamed up with Huggies Little Movers to get parents and babies moving together.  We did the Patty Cake Crunch and Back Roll which helps in strengthening her lower body as well as balance and hand eye coordination and has some added benefits for me by working my core. All the activities in the link are a great way to get you and baby moving while spending fun quality one on one time!

And who wouldn’t want to spend time with this cutie?!

    Love the pictures!

And having extra grip strips on the sides? Genius idea, Huggies!

Will definitely have to remember the Huggies® Little Movers with Double Grip Strips if we have any more little ones. Thanks for the heads up, I love hearing from a *real mom* about a product and not just a paid sales person!
