Summer Fun for Kids @CFAHoustonRoad

We have always loved Chick-fil-A. I know. I may have said it a time or two before. 🙂

And since becoming a blogger ambassador for our local Chick-fil-A Houston Road, I have grown to love them even more! They are just such a fabulous company, they are so good to their employees and the community.

And they are always thinking about families.

If you’re looking for a kid-friendly place with great food and lots to do this summer, escape the heat and stop by Chick-fil-A.

If you’re traveling through on your way to or from vacation and need to stop, eat and burn off some steam, you gotta stop at Chick-fil-A.

Here’s my “TOP 10” Reasons that Chick-fil-A is an amazing place to take the kids!

You can trade your kids meal toy in for a FREE IceDream. And if they aren’t busy….they let the kids come back and make it themselves!!!! But, actually the kids meal toys are always pretty awesome so we don’t do this every time. 🙂

You might have missed them or not realized what they are. The table mats and Cheerios are right in the condiment area by the straws. If you have babies or toddlers, these little extras are a great touch.

The healthier meal options at Chick-fil-A are so nice. You can get the regular kids meal with fried nuggets and waffle fries or you can swap them for gluten free options like grilled nuggets, a fruit-cup, squeezey apple sauce, milk or a juice box.

My kids still love the play area. It is always fun and always clean. I LOVE that you can see inside the play area from the booths in front of it.

The kids meal bags turn into cow puppets. Up-cycling at it finest! 🙂

Mommy Valet is AMAZING. I can’t say it enough. Sometimes ordering food with hungry kids tugging at our legs can be hectic. USE MOMMY VALET. Go through the drive through and after ordering just tell them it is Mommy Valet. After you pay at the window, just park. Your food will be set out at a table and waiting for you when you walk into the dining room! I MEAN……genius. Just genius.

Too hot outside? Are the kids bored? Have a little break or get some work done while the kids play. FREE WI-FI! (My husband is hilarious, I know!)

I feel like every restaurant should really have delicious after-dinner butter mints! Get rid of your chicken breath. Grab a mint or two!

We like to go to the Special Events because they never disappoint. And YES…I got a massage at Chick-fil-A. (Best one of my life, actually. Thank you Joe! )

They’re creative with the family activities. This summer Chick-fil-A Houston Road is having a “Cows on Vacation” Photo Contest!

The contest will run from May 1 – August 15, 2014

Pick up a “flat cow” from Chick-fil-A Houston Road and take your cow on vacation! Take pictures of you and your family with “flat cow” on your vacation and email it to [email protected]

You will be entered in the “Cows on Vacation” photo contest drawing! Every photo of you or your family with “flat cow” on vacation gives you another chance at the grand prize.

The grand prize is a Chick-fil-A Catered Party for 12 with a Cow Appearance! The second and third place prize is a “Milkshake party for 12”.

Rules: Each photo entered must be a separate destination…..(ie. Either a different city or different vacation destination within that city (like Statue of Liberty or Times Square). A family on a “staycation” can also enter….each entry from that family must be a different “field trip” or destination of that city (ie. Eden Park, Art Museum, History Museum, etc).

“Flat Cows” can be picked up at Chick-fil-A Houston Road (ask a dining room or front counter team member to help you).

And now….Do you want FREE BREAKFAST? Well, OK!

Every Wednesday in May is a FREE Breakfast Wednesday! 6:30-10am FREE Chicken Biscuit or Spicy Chicken Biscuit. One per person. Drive thru or Dine in. No coupon needed!
