Lantern Fest {Giveaway}

Lantern Fest!  Oh my good heavens!  I’m so stinking excited about this event.  I’ve never even heard about it until now.  Have you?  The Lantern Fest meets in several locations all over our fair country, from Colorado to Kalamazoo.  And there is one right here in Cincinnati!!  It’s actually right in between Louisville and Cincy, in Sparta, Kentucky.  So it’s super close to me.  And I’m beyond excited about checking it out.  It looks like a breathtaking, one-of-a-kind experience.

So, what is Lantern Fest you ask.  I’m glad you asked.  It’s a unique event where thousands of people come together for music, dancing, s’mores and fun!  Oh, and also to release thousands of paper lantern, lighting up the night sky!!  Doesn’t that sound soo amazing.  I just can’t wait.

“Families and friends can dance to the music, roast marshmallows, munch on snacks provided by local vendors, and of course, watch the lanterns float away in an unforgettable release.”

With your Lantern Pass, you will receive a wristband granting you entrance to the event, a Lantern, a marker, a lighter, and a s’mores kit (with enough supplies to make 4 s’mores).

***NOTE: Kids 3 and under are free, ages 4 to 15 will need to register with a “$5 kids pass”, they will receive entrance to the event as well as a mini flashlight ***

Gates open at 3pm. Be sure to arrive on time if you would like to have a fire pit.  Lanterns will fly when the sun goes down (usually between 7:00pm and 10:00pm)
