I like food. I like to eat. I’ve been blessed that my kids aren’t picky and will eat pretty much anything I put in front of them. But, one of their all time favorites it CORN ON THE COB! I think all kids love that stuff. But, both of the kids have lost a bunch of teeth lately, keeping the tooth fairy on her toes and also making this meal a difficult one!
Do you go to the dentist twice a year? We really try to keep that recommended schedule up. I actually love going to the dentist. My mouth just feels so clean and I love all the new gaps between my teeth. I do enjoy the smooth feeling of my pearly whites after a good professional cleaning!
I was surprised to learn that more than 150 million Americans did not visit a dentist last year! Either because they struggled to find care when they needed it or it just got pushed aside as a lesser priority. 150 MILLION! That was shocking to me.
Oral health is so important. It affects so much of our lives. Your mouth is the window to your whole body. Practicing good oral health today is important to maintaining your future health.
NASCAR driver Danica Patrick is part of a noble endeavor. She is helping spread the word and reminding people to make regular dentist appointments. She is serving up some unique “Taste of the Future” creations to unsuspecting fans in Charlotte to help get this point across.
We had chicken tacos, salad and corn on the cob for dinner. Doesn’t it looks so tasty? But, blended, not so much. Good thing I have a Blendtec. haha. Corn on the cob is a hard one on a blender, but even harder if you don’t have all of your teeth!!
If you don’t want your future meals to look like they were made in Danica Patrick’s Easy Eats food truck, please don’t avoid regular visits to the dentist. Do your future self a favor. Maintain those pearly whites! 🙂
And fortunately, this “A Taste of the Future” can easily be avoided. Aspen Dental is one of the largest and fastest growing networks of dental care providers in the U.S., providing millions of Americans with access to quality, affordable dental care. Keep your mouth on track!

This campaign is awesome….and I am sure it is effective because it is just slightly humorous (which America loves). I am not so good about getting to the dentist 2x per year, but we definitely go at least once. So, did you drink it?
