I am so excited about this Color Me Rad 5k race giveaway. I’ve been wanting to do this run since I heard about it last year, but the one near me was already sold out. (apparently that happens A LOT, this thing sells right on out!) It just looks like SO much fun to me! You have to check out the website and watch the video. It will make you super excited too!
First let me begin with……I am NOT a runner. But, you don’t have to be a runner do this race. (I mean you can be a runner, but you don’t have to be.) It’s for the fun of it. I will even be bringing the bird (5) and the bean (3) …..and the husband (39)! According to their site…. “Just try to finish before the sun goes down. We don’t even own a watch. At the finish line you’ll be rewarded with a sense of accomplishment and an endorphin induced high.” haha. See, it’s just for FUN!
Even the site is fun. They explain the race like this.
“It’ll brighten your day literally and figuratively; it’ll liven up your Facebook page, give you hours of new conversation and fond memories, and you will eventually move on to become the next President of the United States. That’s our personal guarantee. And let’s be honest, when was the last time you acted like a 12 year old? Unless you are now 13 years old, this was probably a long time ago. If you’re 13, you’re not our target demographic anyway. Don’t you have homework to do?”
