Kale Chips :: Super Snack

February 28, 2013 by Erin 2 Comments

I love kale.  It’s true.

I love it in my green smoothies, in Dutch stamppot, I like growing it,  the kids even enjoyed it as baby food cubes.

But, today I’m sharing with you how to make super quick and easy kale chips.

Super chips from a super veggie!

Kale Chips

What you need:

  • kale
  • olive oil
  • salt

What you do:

  • Preheat oven to 400.
  • Wash and dry kale completely.  Tear into chip sized pieces.
  • Place on baking sheet.  Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with salt.
  • Bake for 10 minutes and check.  If getting brown around edges, it’s done.  If not, give it another 2 minutes.
  • Done.  Enjoy your crunchy, delicious, super-snack.

    […] kale.  Yep.  It’s everywhere these days.  Kale chips, crispy baked kale, kale salad.  I actually love kale, so I’m pretty happy with the new fad. […]
