busy weekend

April 12, 2010 by Erin 2 Comments

We had a yard sale on Friday and Saturday. It was really successful, but very tiring. My sister and her kids and my mom came over to help me out for a while on both days. It was crazy. It was a neighborhood sale so there were millions of people (that’s what it felt like). They were like yard sale zombies! Madness. All the signs and ads clearly said 9-2, but that did not stop the zombies from knocking on my garage door at 7:00!!!! We were exhausted! We put Sam down for his nap, and when we happened to check on him, we found him asleep – sitting up. That’s how tired he was. heehee. Silly bean.

Later, I came into the playroom to find this….

I have a feeling that Judah told Sam that he was hungry and asked him what kind of snacks we had around here. That’s when Sam, being the good host, opened the pantry and pulled out the cereal. (because they are boys and that’s what boys eat as a snack). You can’t really see it in the picture – but there were Rice Krispys EVERYWHERE!!

Then later on Saturday after naps, we went to our neighbors birthday party. She turned 5. It was adorable and butterfly themed. Lucie LOVED decorating the sugar cookies. Fun weekend!
