The bird and I made these bags a while back (when there were still leaves on the trees and flowers in the yards). But, I just stumbled upon the pictures and thought I would post them. It was simple and fun. We picked some flowers and leaves while on a walk outside. I got out the bags and the fabric paint and we got to work. We cut an apple in half to use for one bag, as well. I had Lucie paint the leaves and apple halves. Then (with much help and supervision) she pressed them onto the bag. Then, repaint and repeat. Easy peasy. We used letter stamps to put a message on them (‘green is good’ and ‘bloom’). We gave them away as gifts.
