Last month I was so excited to tell you about the new farmer direct coffee at Chick-fil-A Houston Road. Have you tried it yet? They’re now offering this new farmer-direct, specialty-grade iced and hot coffee and it’s available at all locations now. It’s so good.
After I dropped my youngest, sweet, tiny, baby Bean off at his FIRST DAY OF Kindergarten, I needed a little pick me up.
I cried. In front of Kindergarteners. A whole roomful. It was bad. haha.
It was coffee time.
I’m homeschooling our oldest, so she came with me. The Bird was the perfect breakfast date.
And my coffee was so good. Just what I needed.
Lucky for us, the first day of Kindergarten was also a FREE BREAKFAST WEDNESDAY!
So, I got to drown my sorrows in delicious, sweet creamy coffee AND a free chicken biscuit, too! Comfort food at it’s best!

Aug 13th, 20th, and 27th are Free Breakfast Wednesdays! Get a FREE Chicken Biscuit or Spicy Chicken Biscuit from 6:30-10am, dine in or drive-thru! One per person. Only at Chick-fil-A Houston Road.
Want something other than a chicken biscuit? They’ve got you covered. Chick-fil-A has lots of other fantastic breakfast options. You can even get your chicken grilled in the morning. The new grilled recipe goes perfect with breakfast!
Biscuits and Gravy, Cinnamon Minis, Chicken Minis, Sausage Biscuits, Bagel Sandwiches, Whole Grain Bagels with cream cheese, Bacon Egg and Cheese Biscuits. Lots of delicious options. (Yeah, I love breakfast.)
My sweet date approves. She thought “Mom and Daughter, First Day of School, Breakfast Date” was a GREAT idea. I should come up with a shorter name.
Don’t be distracted by her giant bling. bahah. It’s almost as big as the biscuit! Funny Bird.
I ran into our “Bird and A Bean” Entertainment And Arts contributor, Stephanie (and her brand new sweet baby, Zooey) too.

One of the fun things coming up is the new monthly “Chick-fil-A Coffee House”
Monday, Aug 18th will be the first one from 7-9pm. Free entertainment and for the kick-off there will be a FREE small hot coffee or medium Iced Coffee, too! The “unplugged” band for Aug 18th is “Undivided“. They’ll do the first set from 7-7:45pm and the second set 8:15- 9pm. Sounds fun!
