Kid’s Consignment in Bulk and a Discount Code

February 18, 2014 by Erin Leave a Comment

Hi guys.  My friend Heather is our guest today.  She’s so fun, you’ll love her.   She blogs all about food and recipes and restaurants at The Food Hussy.com.  You should check her out.  Today, she wants to share a cool new ONLINE way to buy your kid’s clothes.  It really is a genius business started by a friend of hers.  I love supporting local businesses.  Buy and sell all your kids clothes in bulk…..just so smart!   And she is sharing a discount code for my readers, so don’t go away.  Sweet.

Take it away, Huss!

Hi there – this is The Food Hussy – normally I talk about all things food – but today I wanted to come and share something with my friend Erin and all of you!

There’s a new online business I wanted to let you know about! It’s called LoteDa.com and it’s online kids consignment – but in bulk! Instead of having to sift through racks of clothing to find the hidden gems of quality used kids clothing that are cute AND in good shape – you can go online and get a whole season of clothes all at once!

The same goes on the flip side – do you have a whole season of clothes that your little ones have outgrown and you want to sell them all at once?  LoteDa.com is for you too!  They accept and sell sizes from infant to 5T.

How does it work?

You sort your clothes, photograph them, list them, ship to the buyer and earn money! You earn 90% of the purchase price (that you set) – which is far more than local consignment shops.

If you’re on either side of the coin – check out LoteDa.com.

The owner is my friend and former co-worker Anna Fendley. After having her 2nd baby, Anna decided to quit her job and take on the REALLY tough job – —  Stay-At-Home-Mom!  She then had her a 3rd baby and realized how many extra batches of clothes she had from her boys and came up with the idea of LoteDa.com. She was even featured in the Cincinnati Enquirer this week! The clothes are super cute – makes me wish I had a little one! (Well maybe not – haha).

Anna is also offering friends of A Bird and a Bean a 10% discount on purchase before 3/31.

just use code: BIRD

Thanks.  Have fun shopping.
