They are doing some crazy construction at the entrance to our subdivision. There are usually about 10 bulldozers, trucks, tractors and bobcats up there working.
The bean screams with delight every time we leave or come home because we pass them. He exclaims and gasps and points and repeats….. “Mommy, BIG bull doe, Mommy, baby bull doe (the bobcats are baby bulldozers apparently), Mommy, TRUCK!, Mommy, BIG truck, Mommy TWO bull doe!” (any number more than one is two) And on and on until we can’t see them anymore. He even prays for them every single night with his little eyes all clenched shut……he thanks God for the bull doe and the baby bull doe and the trucks.
So we took a walk and check them out. ๐ And Sam brought his baby. I wasn’t clear if he wanted to show his baby all the cool bulldozers or if he wanted to show all the bulldozers his cool baby. He just insisted….. “Me baby show bull doe” And when we got there….”Bull doe see baby” Perhaps we will never know. ๐

How cute!! Anyone who thinks that boys and girls are just the same except for conditioning hasn’t seen the light in a little boy’s eyes when he catches his first glimpse of heavy equipment!!
