christmas color

December 24, 2010 by Erin 3 Comments

I LOVE Christmas and decorating for Christmas. This year my friend Stephanie surprised me with a cool happy gift during a particularly hard week at work.
It was an antique Ball jar with fun colored Christmas ornaments in it. So cool. She knows that I love mason jars and use them for a lot of different things, she does too! (Actually – in the first picture you can see the giant mason jar that she got me as my birthday gift this year. It holds my cookie cutters right now.) This fun color scheme has kind of sneaked it’s way into my whole house this year and I LOVE it! I just love the bright and non-traditional colors. I smile whenever I look at them.

Then I saw this awesome post at The Hostess With the Mostess. It’s a super fun party and entertaining blog with superb ideas. She had used all the same colors for a party. You can see how cute it was below. (Her pictures are way better than mine – so crisp and clear – how do they do that?) And there were also adorable penguins involved. I love those fun trees on the mantle and she used the same garland as I did! Thanks Target. (I have a serious love/ hate relationship with that place…right now it’s more love)

So honored to make the blog 🙂 Love that you use the big one for cookie cutters. Merry Christmas and so glad you enjoy the colors as much as I do. I’m very much looking forward to adding to the scheme again next year. Cheers!

First of all, the header looks FAB-U-LOUS! Love it. Secondly, I really dig the bulbs and the new colors! Andre and I were thinking of going non traditional next year, just to throw a kink in our chain. Looking good, dahhhling!
