Hi A Bird and A Bean friends. I’m excited about today’s Free Printable Advent Calendar!!
Around our home we love the holidays and we’re always on the lookout for decorating freebies (I’m a cheapskate when it comes to decor that will only be used once every year).
My boys in particular love Christmas (free gifts..who doesn’t?) but I do get tired of hearing EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. “Mooooooom, how many days til Christmas?” Believe it or not, my middle son is already asking every morning when he wakes up and it’s not even Thanksgiving yet! Being the “on top of it Mom” that I am, I have no clue and give some vague answer about “soonish, or not. Quit asking.”
Once December 1 rolls around, though, I’m going to be prepared with this cute modern Advent calendar that I designed for all of you lovely ‘A Bird and a Bean’ readers.
The colorful version fits in nicely with our scheme but I also created a traditional color scheme with tones of red, green, gold and platinum. The versions are formatted to be 11×14 and you can frame them and then cross off each day as you go (just use a dry-erase marker on top of your glass). These also scale down well to be 8×10 (which is the size I’ll be using). You could also laminate the print and hang it on your fridge within easy reach of those little hands that like to help count down till Santa comes. Hope these little beauties make their way into your home this year!
And check back soon! I will be giving away a custom Christmas card design for one of you lucky readers!!
Amy is a daytime graphic artist and full-time mother, wife and daughter. She has two adorable boys who fill her days with dirt, noise and love. She quit practicing architecture and took up graphic design to spend more time with her boys. She couldn’t find the perfect birth announcement for her first baby, so she made her own and hasn’t looked back since! Designing the perfect invitations and prints for people’s special events is much more fulfilling and fun for her than designing stairwells and bathrooms.
