Today I’m bringing you a fantastic tip to help keep your leather car seats looking like new.
It’s a genius tip involving nothing more than a yoga mat, scissors and electrical tape!
See this……This is my leather car seat.
Poor dented seat.
Because I’ve had this giant monstrosity sitting on it for the last 5 years and two kids.
Now see this…..This is my neighbor’s pristine leather car seat.
And this is her genius car seat protector.
She scored this yoga mat for a couple of bucks on sale.
Then she cut it to the size and shape of her car seat.
And she tripled it up (for added padding) and taped it all together.
It’s easy to remove and it’s easy to clean! And it’s cute!
And you don’t actually need to triple it up.
(My neighbor just needed one and didn’t want to waste the rest of the mat.)
You can make three matching car seat protectors out of one yoga mat!
(then you wouldn’t even need electrical tape.)
You can make it cover the back of the seat too if you wanted to.
Look at that seat…. all nice and padded.
You can buy fancy shmancy car seat protectors, but they are usually about 25+ bucks!
You can make this for so much cheaper.
Possibly even free if you have a yoga mat sitting around all sad and un-used.
(hehe. like me!!)
