We were super excited to check out the new Dave and Busters in Florence the other night. Because if there’s one thing that my kids (and husband) love, it’s video games. And if there’s one thing I love, it’s not cooking dinner or cleaning up the kitchen!! WIN! WIN!
There are so many things to look at when you first walk in. The kids eyes were popping out of their heads! They ran from one game to another for an hour or two. There is truly something for everyone, with more than 150 of the newest games like Jurassic Park Arcade, Star Wars, Ghostbusters, Angry Birds Arcade and SpongeBob Pineapple Arcade. Plus good old classics like ski ball! (My favorite!)
And you can choose to get paper tickets, ooorr you can save your tickets right on your Power Card!
Afraid you might loose your Power Card? No worries……You can get a Power Bracelet! Your tokens, tickets and money are all right on the bracelet! Genius. (Just like that famous park with the mouse.)
And your tickets can be used to buy some really fun prizes in the WIN store.
The Florence Dave & Buster’s also features dozens of HD, big-screen TVs and a cool, 360-degree sports bar.
Hungry? Good, because they have some tasty innovative menu items. Check them all out. Here’s what we tried.
Pepperoni Pretzel Pull Apart Bread for starters. YUM! A shareable cluster of jumbo braided pretzel pieces brushed with garlic butter and topped with mozzarella cheese, pepperoni, fresh basil and shredded Parmesan cheese. Served with a zesty marinara sauce for dipping.
A Buffalo Wind Burger for me please. A half-pound burger seared and seasoned, topped with crispy chicken tenders tossed in our buffalo wing sauce, bleu cheese, frazzled onion strings and celery, served on a toasted brioche bun with crispy seasoned tots.
The caveman combo. What?! Individual “St. Louis-style” pork ribs tossed in a chili honey soy glaze served with four mini-cheeseburgers on Hawaiian rolls and seasoned french fries.
And then be sure to save room for sweet. We had the Brookie Sundae Tower. A fun mix of two favorites – a giant chocolate brownie & chocolate chip cookie made with Ghirardelli chocolate chips, baked into one warm & gooey delicious package – topped with vanilla ice cream and chocolate & caramel sauces.
I really like the attention to detail with the Cincinnati decor. There were fun party rooms that you can rent out that have Cincy and Florence walls.
Do you want to Eat. Play. Drink!?
I have a $50 worth of Dave & Busters Fun Money to give away to one of you! (The D&B Dollars can be used for games, food, drinks, or merchandise at any location of Dave & Buster’s.) Enter Below.
