There is no better place to watch a movie about 55-foot animals than on the Omnimax screen! Humpback Whales is still at the Omnimax at The Cincinnati Museum Center for a short time.
Don’t miss this show. It was so good. It closes next week on September 7th! So, get there fast.
Humpback Whales are found in every ocean on each and were almost driven to extinction 50 years ago, but are making a slow recovery! We learned so much about these intelligent 55-foot, 50-ton animals. They migrate up to 10,000 miles round trip every year! They are the most acrobatic of all whales and love jumping and singing.
And now, seeing a humpback whale in the wild is definitely on my bucket list.
Alaska here I come! (Or maybe Hawaii.) 🙂
Narrated by two-time Golden Globe® nominee Ewan McGregor, Humpback Whales is an extraordinary journey into the mysterious world of one of nature’s most awe-inspiring marine mammals. Set in the spectacular waters of Alaska, Hawaii and the remote islands of Tonga, this ocean adventure offers an up-close look at how these whales communicate, sing, feed, play and take care of their young.”
I’m in awe of the architecture of Union Terminal every time I step foot in the rotunda.
And while your’e there, get an all museum pass and check out the rest of the place.
We always have such a good time.
In the kids water area, they appropriately have humpback whales to play with. Great idea. Mine played there for almost an hour!
Don’t miss it!
