Hello everyone!! How are you doing today? I hope you’re enjoying your Valentine’s Day!! My husband was so sweet and bought me PURPLE tulips!! They are potted, which he has never bought for me before, but he said they were the only purple ones he saw so that’s why he bought them that way. I thought that was so cute that he bought me them because they’re my favorite color.
Anyway, let’s move onto the crafted I created for todays post. I love how it turned out and it was so fun to make! I wanted to create a holiday craft that could be neutral so I could use it for any holiday I want. I like to make crafts that can be kept up all year round and just change out the sentiment on it. I had some burlap and an 8×8 canvas sitting in my craft room unused so I thought I would make a cute little chevron wall decor.
I added 2 little clothespins to hang printables or whatever else I’d like to display on it. I am in love with it, which is just fitting because today is the day of LOVE. hehe
There’s a spot in my hallway as you walk into the kitchen where there is an ugly little grey outlet that we don’t use. I used to have a scripture framed that hid it, but it got knocked off the wall too many times and last year the frame finally broke to pieces. I’ve been wanting to cover the spot up, but just haven’t figured out what I wanted to put there. I finally decided to make this craft and put it on that wall.
Here’s what it looked like before putting up the burlap wall decor piece:
Not so pretty, right?
Now that looks so much better, doesn’t it?!!
Here’s a closer look at it hanging on the wall. Funny little sidenote, the printable I got off of pinterest for free here. The colors are supposed to be gold and red and it’s supposed to be fully colored in. Well, I set the printable up to print and when I went to go get it off of my printer this is what it looked like.
My printer head apparently needed to be cleaned, but I actually liked the look of this so I just left it. Since the printable was available as and 8×10 I printed it that way and then cut it down to be just the words. I really love the saying. I can’t wait to switch out this printable tonight and put up a new St. Patrick’s Day printable. I’m in search of a cute one, so if you have one I’d love you to put a link in the comments!
Thanks for stopping by today! I’ll see you again next month! Have a great weekend!
