Oh, teachers. So often under appreciated. I should know. I was one! 🙂 I taught in the public schools for 15 years, before recently staying home to homeschool my own kids. So, I guess actually I’m still a teacher. Just to a much smaller class. And actually, come to think of it, I’m still pretty underappreciated! HA! But, that could be because I’m a mom, actually. 😉
Educators play such an important roll in our society, it’s nice to go the extra mile and really make them feel special.
I like to express our gratitude for teachers in creative ways. Here are some of the fun things we’ve given the kids pre-school teachers over the years. Click here for directions and links to the printables.
1. Thanks “A Latte”, with a Starbucks giftcard!
2. Take “Note” You are one of my favorite teachers, with a set of new note cards!
3. Thank you for helping my child “Bloom” this year, with a stamped spoon marker and a potted plant.
Super cute, right?! I do love a good play on words. And I love to give (and receive) gifts. Who better to give a thoughtful gift to than a teacher? They accomplish great things and impact so many lives.
Even Chevrolet wants in on expressing some gratitude to teachers. Did you know that they have a Chevy Educator Discount? I did not! They have a nice big way to thank all educators and school emplyees through this discount. And the discount never takes a summer break! (Because let’s be honest….neither do teachers!) 😉
Chevrolet would like to thank educators everywhere for their dedication by offering Chevrolet’s Educator Discount on some great cars. Be sure to check it out! They have great, fuel efficient, stylish, versatile and dependable vehicles! Some even have Wi-Fi!! Sweet.
So nice of them! And a really great opportunity!
How do you thank your kids’ teachers?

I love the idea of the stamped spoon and the potted plant. It is something the teacher as well as the kids can enjoy all year round.

I love the idea of getting note cards. They always seem to be writing notes and I think it is always nice on pretty cards. Of course we always add a Starbucks card in too so they can get a nice start to their day.
