Please tell me that I’m not the only mom who has a kid who loves something that really just needs to go in the trash.
For Sam that thing is his beloved Batman pajamas.
They are 2 sizes too small and have a toothpaste stain that won’t go away… but every time they make their way to close to the pajama heaven he looks at me with his giant tear-filled eyes and I just can’t do it!
So, I’ve hidden them in his closet thinking when he’s over his Batman phase I will try the disposal again. But, then I thought to myself… if he loves them and he can’t wear them… then, I should find a way for him to use them anyway.
A pillow seemed like the perfect solution.
Step 1: turn the shirt inside out
Step 2: sew it shut
Step 3: Stuff it (I used an old pillow we already had)
Step 4: Sew it closed
Step 5: Revel in the the smile of your children as they cherish their old lovie in a new way!
