Cornstarch Clay

March 3, 2013 by Erin 1 Comment

The kids and I love making cornstarch clay.  If you like to make playdough and are looking for something new to try, you should check out cornstarch clay.  It’s super smooth and so texturally inviting.  It just begs to be played with.  I added glitter, but you could omit that or even add food coloring.  It dries nicely and stays super white instead of yellowing like salt dough.

Come on over to We Use Coupons where I am sharing the tutorial today.  It only takes 2 ingredients, which you might even have in your pantry!  😉  (hint….one of them is cornstarch!! haha) cornstarch cornstarchhearts

If you like this project, check out our other homemade play dough recipes……

This is a new one for me. I had never heard of cornstarch clay and I am going to try it next weekend with my granddaughter. She loves crafting and this looks fun and inexpensive.
