It is the last full week of the Mamavation and Omron Fitness challenge. Wow, time just flies. Today starts week 5. I have really liked using the new heart rate monitor these last two weeks. I wear it on the inside of my wrist (opposite of the picture) and I get pretty good readings. I can easily look at my wrist to see if I am in the target heart rate for a good workout. It’s great. I’ve also tried Zumba out for the first time in my life, just for this challenge. I’ve done it a lot this past month, in addition to the workouts for the challenge, which has been fun. I’m one of the most uncoordinated people on the planet, so it’s certainly not pretty. But it is fun. 🙂
And just look how skinny my waist is in this yellow shirt! (haha. I wish.)
This last week I lost 1.4 pounds. Not much, but better than nothing…..I’ll take it. So that makes 12.2 pounds lost since application. So, that’s pretty good. I don’t really feel like my hard work is paying off as much (quickly) as I would like, but what can you do? Some of the other 24 bloggers have lost TONS more and FAST. I am just amazed at them! (and a tiny bit jealous) You can check out their results here. They’ve all been doing so great. We (the 25 of us) have lost 266.9 pounds in four weeks, all together! haha. That is insane. Next Monday I will post my final after pictures and measurements. I know you don’t want to miss that. bahaha.
Don’t forget to come on over to the Twitter party next week. You could win some great prizes. Like these……
