I’m so excited right now. I was chosen along with 24 other bloggers to be part of the Omron Fitness Chanllenge. We are 25 mamas about to get healthy. And share about it. :)
When I saw the call for applicants from Omron Fitness on Mamavation, I threw my application in the mix and crossed my fingers. I knew it would be just the perfect thing to kick start getting healthy in 2013 for me. And here we are. There were over 600 applicants and I was one of the lucky 25! How freaking cool is that? I can NOT wait.
I used to excercise at least 4 to 5 times a week. Yeah…. that is pretty much down to zero times per week. I used to log everything I ate. Nope….that doesn’t happen anymore either. I got busy. I got lazy. I am so excited to have this accountability. Join me. The Mamavation Sistahood is a great place for accountability and motivation. Check it out.
The challenge works like this…. From January 14th until February 10th I will be participating in the #iheartomron Fitness Challenge. In that time, I will post here every Monday about my progress with the workouts and weight loss. I’ll be using some rocking cool tools from Omron Fitness on this crazy journey. (The HJ-323U connected pedometer, the 510W Scale, and then later on in the challenge the new Strapless Heart Rate Monitor (HR-5ooU).) The pedometer and strapless heart rate monitor will sync with the Omron Fitness Dashboard on Facebook. The Omron Fitness Dashboard will help me track my activity online and on my phone, create fitness benchmarks and goals, and keep me challenged. I am so excited to see how the dashboard will work. It sounds so cool.
