Is 2013 your year? Are you ready to take control of your health and make lifestyle changes that will give
you more energy? Are you ready to feel and look great!?
3 tips for losing Holiday Weight
1. Bye Bye Sugar! Now that you spent some merry time over-indulging, time to cut back. Cut out refined sugars and saturated fats from your diet. This may seem easy, but it is going to take some discipline. After spending a month (maybe longer) eating and drinking whatever your little heart desired, your body may go into sugar withdraw causing your mind to really…REALLY…crave sugar. But stay strong and focused! This sugar craving will get replaced with healthy cravings as soon as your body starts running on healthy fuel.

2. Good ole’ Fiber. Fiber is great! Among other things, it helps our bodies feel full, stay regular and lower cholesterol. Throughout the day make sure your body is getting a healthy portion of fiber. You can add fiber to your diet by simply eating more fruits and veggies, some have more than others but pick ones that you know you’ll eat. Cuz, they only help you if you eat them! 🙂

3. Exercise. That’s right I said it…exercise! Some may think that this nasty 8 letter word is all work and a form of torture, but it can be fun and a great way to start the New Year and the new you! Besides, it’s essential to your health and to losing those extra pounds. Find time this week to add some exercise to your routine. It might be walking with a friend, or getting away by yourself. Maybe you belong to a gym that you are finally going to use, or the equipment in your basement that has been great for hanging clothes. Whatever you do, be sure to make exercising a part of your daily life! Get out there!
