I saw this little stool for a dollar at a yard sale a long time ago. It was the perfect height for our needs, but it was pale pink. I figured that was nothing a quick meeting with spray paint couldn’t fix. So I bought it.
….And it’s been in our bathroom being pale pink ever since. I finally got around to painting it this week and I’m so glad I did. It was a very quick project and I love the way it turned out. The kids think it’s funny to step on their footprints while washing their hands.
What I did.
First, I spray painted the pink parts orange. When that was dry I dipped the kids feet in white acrylic paint and stamped their footprint onto it. One got a little smudgy and it was REALLY easy to wipe off and start over. Then I found some white stickers in my stash and put their names on it. Finally I sprayed the whole thing with a clear sealer. Done and done. Now it matches my bathroom!

Get out of my head, I tell you! I bought a stool at a yard sale to do this exact thing with! Andre put it in the attic when some folks came to see the house, and I forgot about it! Shame on me. Anyhoo- Love the color you chose. Looks super cute!
