I love our little local produce co-op.
I used to go every single week, when we lived closer. (and by closer I mean by only 10 minutes – hehe) But, I haven’t been in a really, really long time. Like since the bean was born! Then I was reminded how good their berries are after reading this post on The Talberts.
I decided it was time to revisit.
It’s only open twice a week and has funny hours, so I always forget. But, last week I remembered! Hooray! We came home with a huge box full of awesome organic produce for way less than it would have cost at Kroger. They also have pastured eggs (we’re good there -haha), raw milk, Amish cheeses and tons of other great stuff too. I think you can even order grass fed beef – but we’re set in that department, too.
But, my favorite are the organic berries. I want to do something fancy with them, like make jam or cobbler. But, they don’t last long in our house. (The raspberries always disappear first because they are just so tasty AND fun!) Maybe next week. 🙂
If you haven’t been to Paula’s in a while – you should go!
i NEED to know about this co-op! i looooove berries, and so do the kiddos.
