Picking shiny ripe apples is a favorite fall activity! But, now I can add picking under-ripe apples from my parent’s neighbor’s over laden apple tree… as a favorite summer time activity. The neighbor called my mom and told her to bring us on over for a picking good time because all the apples were being eaten by deer. So, off to Grandmothers house we went. We went early in the morning, – and it was already almost too hot to be outside! Gross! It was a fun little excursion, though. We’re going to make some nice apple crisps and apple sauce (once they ripen a bit more).
Sam mostly liked throwing them. I really think he could have done that for hours……but…….
the bean does NOT love the heat. (or the cold actually). And it was stinking hot. So, he decided to have a little sit down. One minute he was there helping us and the next minute he had found his own little grassy knoll to watch us work. Typical! 🙂
