snow day

February 17, 2010 by Erin 1 Comment

We had another snow day here. So much fun. I am not sure how many inches – but I heard it was 9, on top of the first 6. So, pretty snowy!! In fact, it was almost too deep to actually sled. We did try though, and it was just OK. Then we tried to make a snow man, but that didn’t work either. Not packing snow. My brother-in-law made a snow fort and I was jealous, so I decided we needed to make our own. It was not nearly as nice as his because his rocks – but it served the purpose. Maybe if we have another snow day I can work on it a little more tomorrow. Basically I just dug out a hole with the shovel – but Lucie thought it was great! Of course, this was during the bean’s nap. He is not a huge fan of the cold. Grandma even stopped by to take a fake quick nap in it.

I remember making a snow fort once in NC when I was a wee little thing. Fun stuff. I wish I was there to enjoy a day of it. The white stuff is all gone down here.
    Kisses to bird and bean.
